Senator Kennedy Donates Over $180,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs Across Louisiana

United States Senator John Kennedy announced his commitment to support Boys & Girls Clubs across the state through a $182,425 donation at the Monroe & West Monroe/West Quachita Chamber of Commerce Luncheon.

Funds for this donation were raised during the Economic Development Luncheon co-hosted by the St. Tammany and Monroe Chamber during DC Mardi Gras. Nearly 900 elected, business, and economic and chamber leaders attended the event.

Senator Kennedy presented the check at the University of Louisiana Monroe to Boys & Girls Clubs in Louisiana CEO’s Angel Nelson, Metro Louisiana, Rhyan Wheeler, Acadiana, and Eldontá Osborne, North Louisiana.

“Louisiana’s young people are the future of our great state, and I’m thankful to the Boys & Girls Clubs for investing in them tirelessly,” said Senator Kennedy.

“Senator Kennedy’s investment in our young people not only means that he believes in building a brighter future for them, but it also showcases his dedication to ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed,” said Nelson. “We are so grateful for his support in the Boys & Girls Clubs movement.”
