Applicant must be age of 18 at time of submitting application.
Application Process
*Applications may take up to seven days to be processed and completed. Submitting multiple applications will result in delays in processing your application.*
PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age at time of application. No exceptions can be made.
Individual Applications:
Step 1: Fill out the application to volunteer .
(Please fill out as much information on the application as possible, this will help us match you to a Club Site quickly)
Step 2: Complete your background check.
(A link will be sent to you by our Community Engagement Director once your application is received.)
Step 3: Our Community Engagement Director, Seresa Corbin, will connect you with a Club Director who will facilitate you coming to their club.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL individuals seeking volunteer opportunities must undergo and clear a background check to be onboarded as a volunteer. Applications do not guarantee placement or acceptance into the volunteer program.

*Donation not required to volunteer, just greatly appreciated if you do consider this option! If you decide to donate, please leave a note stating it is for a volunteer background check!*
Need to Renew?
If you've gotten an email from our system informing you that your background check will be expiring within 90 days, and you would like to continue volunteering, please send an email to seresa@bgcmetrolouisiana and she will send over a new background check link!
