Slidell Club Gives Back to Local Community

Giving back means more to our Slidell Club. Not only does it strengthen our community bonds, but it also empowers our members to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

Every Wednesday during summer programming, our Slidell teen and Keystone Club members give back to their community by volunteering at their local senior citizen center. During their volunteer time, they serve lunch, play bingo and line dance with the seniors.

This experience has taught our youth valuable life lessons about kindness, service, and the importance of community involvement. Each interaction creates lasting memories and builds a stronger, more compassionate community for everyone involved.

Bringing joy to the residents while also fostering meaningful connections between generations is truly something special, and we are so proud of our members for being so willing to give back to their local community.
