Slidell Teen Club member Laila Smith won a national contest with Dove and MyFuture with Boys & Girls Clubs of America over the holidays. Laila was one of the first 50 girls to complete the Dove funded MyFuture - Girls Room activity. She received a $100 gift certificate and a celebration at the Club. We congratulate Laila for her hard work and dedication to Boys & Girls Clubs!
MyFuture is a platform offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of America that allows Club members to work on digital projects and complete badges. The platform also offers contests that members can enter to earn prizes and even scholarships. Members can also watch videos and tune into live interactive events on the platform.
